Spring Art Show

Congratulations to the Piner Baseball team. They defeated Windsor 4-2 for the NBL Oak Championship.

The Piner PE Student of the Month for April is Katrina Le. Katrina is in Mrs. Pepper's third period class and exemplifies the "ideal" P.E. student every day! Katrina grade has never dropped below 100%, she has not missed a day of class, and has never had a suit cut! Katrina meets our standards with a positive attitude and encourages her peers to participate. Karina is just awesome!

Check out this great video about our SPARQ Center from InsideCalEd (Inside California Education).

Piner Community - follow a link to open these two fact sheets generated by a Piner student in connection to a project on the environment (one is in English and one is in Spanish). The project is about car idling and its impacts on our local community. Please be aware that there is a link to a Google Form at the end of each fact sheet and Piner High School takes no position on whether or not you should fill out the information asked for once you follow the link as it is not affiliated with the school.

The Piner PE Student of the Month for March is Raphael Salcedo.

The Piner PE Student of the Month for February is Aubry Cordova. Aubry is extremely hard working, and always makes an extra effort to help set up and clean up equipment. She helps keep the class running smoothly and is very mature and responsible. Congratulations Aubry for being Piner's PE Student of the Month for February.

The Piner PE Student of the Month for January is freshman, Veronica Martinez. This future firefighter is an absolute joy to have as a student. Veronica participates and does all that the class is doing with nothing but full, 100% enthusiasm! Veronica's incredible humor and hard work makes teaching PE a joy. Congratulations Veronica Martinez for being Piner's PE Student of the Month for January.

The CTE (Career Technical Education Foundation Sonoma County) Press Release - Sonoma County CTE Foundation awarded the Piner HSB program a $10K program enhancement grant to purchase the Susie 901, a mid fidelity clinical nursing mannequin. This grant required the development of a work plan as well as a requirement for students to learn about financial literacy. They have been supporting schools in our county for over 6 years supporting over 98 programs such as ours and donated over $ 2 million dollars - all in the name of Career Technical Education. Many thanks to the foundation and their directors for their guidance and support.
