  • Tryouts for JV Cheer will take place at the beginning of the upcoming school year.

From the Coach: It has been an absolute joy coaching such wonderful, spirited, talented and enthusiastic young ladies. The compliments that I have received from various people throughout the year have been overwhelmingly positive and prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that we have really turned the Piner Cheerleading Program around. Piner teachers and staff, Piner students, cheerleaders from other schools, parents from other schools, professionals in the cheer community, administration from other schools….those are just SOME of the various groups of people who YOU have IMPRESSED and INSPIRED with your amazingness!

For those of you who will be continuing on in the cheer program, I cannot wait to see what we can do this upcoming year. It can only get better and I look forward with excitement to the challenge of building this program up even higher, working with you as a team! The Piner Cheer Program and it's members deserve to absolutely SOAR!

For those of you who are moving on to new chapters in your life...it has been an honor to work with you and I wish you success, happiness, and joy in all the ventures that you choose to embark on. Remember, stay true to YOU... surround yourself with people who LIFT YOU UP, not bring you down...and NEVER SETTLE for less than you deserve in all aspects of your life.

You will always have a very special place in my heart….FAMILY is FOREVER!

Piner High School Cheer Promise

As a Piner High School Cheerleader, my goal is to always promote and uphold Piner High School spirit, unity and pride. To conduct myself with the utmost respect for my fellow teammates, classmates, parents, coaches, opposing teams and game officials and to encourage others to do the same. To maintain a positive and encouraging attitude and to be a productive member of the Piner High School student body, my community and my cheerleading squad. To set and maintain a standard of moral, academic, and athletic excellence for myself, my squad, and Piner High School.
