Piner Garden November 2011 - Thanks to Mr. Lopez, Piner High School was selected to receive a SAGE Mitsubishi Fellowship Grant. The grant will be used to improve the garden. Piner High School broke ground on a new garden in the Spring of 2011. Thanks to the vision and leadership of Mr. Doucette and Mr. Lopez, we hope the Garden will become a bright spot for the school. Piner's Culinary program has already benefited from the garden by harvesting basil to make pesto. The garden is located next to the gym and cafeteria. Everyone is welcome to visit. If you are interested in helping please contact the School Office. The following are photos of the garden and some of our wonderful student helpers.
